The Sean Scully retrospective Passenger is an exquisite cross-section of the painter’s work over the past fifty years. The exhibition presents works from all the major phases of his work, from early figurative experiments to seminal abstract works that he is known for and recent works. By walking through the show, visitors can get acquainted with Scully’s work in a wide range of mediums such as works on paper, canvases, sculpture and photography. Sean Scully is one of the most prominent contemporary painters whose works are part of museum collections around the world.
